ANNOUNCEMENTS

Join us next week at 9:30 AM for Sunday School!

Children will leave shortly after song service for Jr. Church. 

  • Moravia Community Blood Drive will be Sept. 21st from 1:00 – 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. If you would be willing to give blood, please contact Carol Martin (641-895-9090) to make an appointment.
  •  Circle of Freedom is having a Spaghetti Dinner and Auction to help raise money for the continued building of their women’s residential home. This event will be at the Events Center at the Wayne County Fairground Saturday Sept. 25th. Food will be served from 5:00-6:30 PM and the auction will begin at 7:00 PM.
  • The next two Sunday’s (Sept. 26th and Oct. 3rd) we will be collecting Fall Alabaster Offering. This offering provides funds to help in the many aspects of building churches around the world, from purchasing land, building parsonages, and much more.
  • Real Life Women’s Conference at the Iowa Events Center Hy Vee Hall will be Nov. 19th and Nov. 20th. Doors open Friday at 5 PM – Concert 9 PM and Saturday at 8 AM – Concert 4:30 PM. If you are interested in more information or purchasing tickets, you can visit com.
  • Youth Fundraiser: Volleyball League will begin Oct. 10th. Games will be played Sunday afternoons 2:00, 3:00, & 4:00. Players must be 7th grade or older, $20 per person which includes team/league shirt. Teams are co-ed and must always have at least two females on the court. Roasters are due to Rhonda Myers by Sept. 26th (RhondaMyers2010@hotmail.com or 641-895-9541).
  • Janiece Self will be leading a New Hope Discipleship Class starting on Wednesday Oct. 6th at 7:00 PM. The first meeting will take place in the Church Library.
  • Bridge View Center will be hosting a concert by Sidewalk Prophets on September 23rd at 7:00 PM. Some of their songs include “Prodigal”, “You Love Me Anyway”, and “Come to the Table”. You can purchase tickets online at bridgeviewcenter.com/events for $25 or at the door for $19.
  • This year we will be having Trunk or Treat but no Pumpkin Barn. If you would be willing to help, please see Pastor Freddy or fill out the top portion of your bulletin and put it in the offering. We are wanting a more elaborate even this year and will need as many cars as we can get.
