Join us next week at 9:30 AM for Sunday School!
Our kids will be leaving for Children’s Church following song service.

• Tonight, we will be hosting Family Fun Night in place of Sunday Funday. We pray that you’ll join us this evening for a great night starting with a concert by Westward Road at 6:00 PM in the sanctuary, we’ll follow up with a fellowship meal in the gym and end the night with games and fun outside. We will have the inflatables up, but we will NOT be doing water activities. Be sure to invite all of your friends and family, bring a dish or dessert to share, grab your lawn chair and come spend the evening with us! Following Family Fun Night, the teens will head to the DeJong’s for an all-night campout. Make sure to bring your sleeping bag and pillow! They will be returning to the church at 8:00 AM Tuesday morning for pick up.

• Children’s Bible Quizzing started last Wednesday! If you have a 1st through 6th grader, we would love to have them join us this year as we study the book of Acts, it’s not too late! Quiz meets are every second Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM starting in October and ends with Districts in May. Please see Tami Swaby or Alycia Proctor for more information.

• Prayer at the Pole: starting this month, every first Thursday of the month there will be a prayer meeting held at the Moravia school flagpole. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us this Thursday, September 5th at 7:35 AM.

• Next Sunday, September 8th will be our last Broken C Cowboy Church of the year, so you don’t want to miss it! Pleasure classes and the trail class will start the morning off at 10:00 AM, then they’ll break for a great message from Pastor Terry Chapman and a free-will donation lunch, and then the show will resume with the speed classes.

• Friday, September 13th during the Fall Festival there will be a Christian concert on the square starting at 7:00 PM. Nashville Christian Recording Artists, “Adams Voice” consists of husband-and wife team David and Charlene Adams and their four children. Invite your friends and join us for an evening of worship with the community!

• Life Serve will be here for a community blood drive on Tuesday, September 17th from 1:00-6:00 PM. Help your community by scheduling your lifesaving appointment today by calling Carol Martin at 641-724-3003.

• Alabaster is 75 years old! Since 1949, Alabaster funds have been raised to help local congregations have access to permanent meeting space for worship. Alabaster lays foundations that provide places where people worship, heal, and learn. And every time you participate in Alabaster giving, your contributions not only lay foundations, but you are engaged in enabling people in all kinds of contexts to worship God, heal and be healed, and learn more about the goodness and grace of God.
