Cowboy Church TODAY starting at 11!

  • Consumed Youth Ministries will be selling camp t-shirts. If you are interested in purchasing one, order forms are on the welcome center or in your mailbox. Forms must be returned by Aug 15th to Kaylee and/or Joe Cloyed.
  • Free Books! – There is a table in the vestibule full of books from Pastor’s collection. Pastor would like to invite you to look through them and take any you would be interested in.
  • New Hope’s 11th Annual Rummage Mania will be Aug 26th from 2-6, Aug 27th from 7:30-5:30, and Aug 28th from 7:30-12, at the First Baptist Church in Centerville. There will be no price tags, so you choose what you pay as a donation to New Hope. New items will be added each day!
  • Board Meeting tomorrow night at 7:00 PM.
  • Aug 19th at 8 PM there will be a Prayer Night held outside the School in Moravia. The church and community are invited to help cover the grounds with prayer before the start of the coming school year.
  • If you have files saved on the Sunday School computer that you want to keep, please put them on a flash drive before Sept. 5th. Heather will be cleaning out the computer because it has gotten too full and is running very slowly.
  • The Moravia Mohawk Football team will be holding a slow pitch softball tournament and Country Music Concert on Aug. 15th starting at 12:30 PM at the Moravia High School. Proceeds go towards the purchase of updated safety helmets and other equipment for the team. If you are interested participating in this event you can contact Matt Messamaker at 641-895-5192. They will also be serving loose meat sandwiches, chips, and a drink for $5.
  • We would like to thank the individuals who have helped clean up the front of the church. It is greatly appreciated!
  • Knoxville First Church of the Nazarene will be having The Garms Family in concert on Aug 29th at 6:00 pm.
  • Help us Celebrate Pastor & Gisele’s retirement!!! Aug. 29th following Sunday AM service we will be having a potluck lunch (please bring sides and desserts).
  • Men’s Prayer Breakfast is 14th at 7:00 AM. Following breakfast, Mission 360 will be going to the Church of Christ in Centerville to help with some repairs to the building. If you are willing to help you can meet at the church after breakfast or meet them in Centerville. They plan to be there till around noon.
