ANNOUNCEMENTS

Join us next week at 9:30 AM for Sunday School!
Our kids will be leaving for Children’s Church following song service.

• It’s Sunday Funday: Soups & Salads! Please join us for food and fellowship following this morning’s worship.

• The Thursday Morning Ladies Bible study will be starting a new series on April 18th from 10:00-11:30 AM. This will be a 9-week study titled “Sermon on the Mount” by Jen Wilkins. The cost will be $10 each for the materials and that will be due by tomorrow, April 8th. Please call the office or see Susan Gilland or Giselle Chapman for more information.

• Christian Motorcyclists Association (Ottumwa Soul Patrol Chapter) will be here for Blessing of the Bikes next Sunday, April 14th during our AM service. Everyone is welcome to bring their bicycles or motorcycles! There will be a section blocked off in the parking lot to park them. They will share a presentation and then pray a blessing over all the bikes.

• Next Sunday, April 14th we will be collecting an Alabaster Offering. Alabaster is an international building fund of the Church of the Nazarene, funding construction projects worldwide. It was inspired by the biblical story of a women washing Jesus’ feet with perfume, encouraging sacrificial giving from the overflow of hearts filled with gratitude to God for the wonderful gift of His Son.

• Graduating Seniors of 2024! If you are interested in applying for the Men’s Ministry Scholarship, please email the church office at moravialighthousenaz@gmail.com and we will forward you a link to fill out the application online. There are also paper copies in the foyer that you can turn back into the church office. Applications are due back by next Sunday, April 14th, 2024. If you have any questions, please see Jeff Wilson.

• If your child is going to MAX, the vans will be leaving on April 18th around 2:00PM. Please be here by 1:50 PM. They will return on Saturday sometime between 1:00 PM- 5:00 PM.

• If you are looking to take the next steps into your walk with Jesus and have been interested in baptism, there will be a baptism class held Sunday, April 21st during Sunday School in the youth room.

• The new church van is going on another adventure! This is not exclusive to just seniors, any age is welcome. We will be traveling to Nauvoo, Illinois on Friday, April 26th. The van will be leaving the church parking lot at 1:00 PM and the cost will be $30 per person. This will include your dinner (tax and tip included), and gas for the van. There will be sight-seeing and shops to visit before heading back home. Please call the office or see Lois McAllister for more information. If you have been before, we are more than open to suggestions on places to stop and see! Please sign up on the sign-up sheet in the foyer.

• Start getting your team lined up! Trivia Night will be May 4th with a free will donation dinner starting at 5:30 PM and the trivia will start at 6:30 PM. Teams can have 6-8 people and will cost $10 per person. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer or send team info to Jordan Horstick.
