- There is still time to join Gisele Chapman’s Women’s Bible Study group! They meet every Thursday morning at 10:00 AM. It is a 6-week study on Jonah. Reach out to Gisele or Nancy Hatfield to get a study book.
- Consumed Youth Ministries will be serving at Pizza Ranch on October 17th from 5:00-8:00 PM as a fundraiser for Khinley Jo Selix. If you show them a flier, 10% of your order will go to her family along with 100% donations. You can find flyers in the foyer.
- The Women’s 3 To 1 R & R’s Retreat (Rest, Restore, Renew) at Camp Table Rock is October 20th-22nd. Pray with us that these ladies find relaxation, embrace the presence of God in their lives, and that they come back renewed.
- This year’s District Men’s Retreat is scheduled for October 20th-21st at East Iowa Bible camp. Registration is open and the cost is $50. Micheal Perkins (Pastor at Cedar Rapids Oakland) will be the guest speaker. If you are interested in going, see Pastor Jordan with more information on how to get registered.
- The youth will be heading to the NYI Fall Retreat on Oct. 27th and 28 We pray for our youth as they “get away from the world and engage with God.”
- Consumed Youth Volleyball League will be starting up! This is a fundraiser for Consumed Youth Ministries. Register by October 22nd, games start November 5th and run through December with a tournament being held in January. The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for 18-under (this does include over your t-shirt). Games will be played on Sundays at 3:00, 3:45, and 4:30 PM. See the fliers out in the foyer for more information. Gather your team and contact Pastor Jordan to get signed up!
- We are having a Trunk-or-Treat decorating contest again this year! We encourage you to decorate your vehicle with a Bible theme since this event is intended to be a ministry for our local children. Please help us share the love of Jesus with our community in a fun way! Prizes will be given to the top three displays. If you are planning to bring your vehicle, please let Pastor Jordan know. Trunk-or-Treat will be October 31st from 5:30-7:00 PM. If you would like to donate candy for everyone to hand out, there is a drop box in the foyer (look for the trash can with the sign).
- It is time for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes! There is a table in the foyer with boxes for you to take. Drop-off will be the week of November 13th-18th.

Frank Ballanger (Doug Ballanger’s father) fell this week and will now be moving to Homestead in Centerville.
Peggy Rogers- (Patty Self’s sister) had hip replacement surgery on 10/12. Praying for speedy recovery.
