• We are thrilled to announce that Pastor Lobb and his family have officially accepted the call to be our new lead pastor! Following last week’s encouraging vote, we look forward with great anticipation to what God will do through their leadership in the season ahead. Please be in prayer for the Lobb family as they share this news with their current church and begin the transition process. Out of respect for their church in Kentucky, we are refraining from posting anything online until they’ve had the opportunity to communicate this news directly to their congregation. Thank you for your continued prayers and support throughout this process. Stay tuned, more details will be shared soon!
• The Church Board will be hosting an Open House at the parsonage today following AM service from Noon-2:00 PM.
• Teen’s leave for camp tomorrow. Fees are due today! Please be here by 7:30 AM tomorrow morning. There will be no Wednesday evening services for kids and teens this Wednesday, July 30th – due to Teen’s Camp. Tava’s and Stan’s Wednesday night adult Bible studies will still meet as usual. Please keep our teens and leaders in your prayers as they travel and spend the week together. Pray that God will do big things in their lives this week.
• Join us for Sunday Funday, August 3rd, immediately following AM service in the gym for brunch! We will be serving eggs, sausage, and bacon. We ask that you bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share along with your favorite box of cereal to add to the cereal bar! This is a great outreach opportunity to bring someone to church who normally wouldn’t come.
• Broken C Cowboy Ministry’s next Fun Show and Cowboy Church is August 10th. The baptism services were postponed last month and will be held this month. If you would like to be baptized, please see Pastor Terry or Sue Dowdy.
• We are just under a year away from Nazarene Youth Conference 2026 (NYC26)! This is a global youth conference held in Salt Lake City, Utah next summer. Many are already interested in going and it is open to all going to be 7th-12th graders. One way you can support this trip financially is to find the binder in the foyer that has slots numbered 1-100. When you have spare cash around or if you want to write a check, just remove the card and fill the spot with the corresponding amount of money. Take the card as a reminder to pray for the trip. Thank you for your support and if you have any questions, see Pastor Jordan or any youth leader!
• We will be hosting a Life Line Screening event on Friday, August 22nd, 2025. Life Line Screening is the premier provider of stroke and cardiovascular disease risk screenings since 1993. They are extending a discounted offer to everyone who attends Lighthouse Church. Please see the flier in the foyer or your email for more information.
