ANNOUNCEMENTS
Join us next week at 9:30 AM for Sunday School!
Kids are invited to Children’s Church following song service.
• Easter Drama “season” is upon us once again! Last year we were able to show the gospel to over 2000 people through the Easter Drama! BUT there is a lot of work that needs to be done in order for this ministry to be put on. This is a great place for people to get involved with this ministry. There is something that EVERYONE can do. Please let us know if you are available, many hands make light work. There will be NO drama practice tonight! Next practice will be next Sunday, February 16th from 4:00-6:00 PM.
• Today church members will vote on donating the streets to the city. If you are a member, please be sure to find Alycia or Norma out in the lobby before or after AM service to get your ballot and turn your vote in.
• The teens are having a Super Bowl party tonight at 5:30 PM in the teen room for 7th-12th graders. Please bring a finger food to share!
• Broken C Cowboy Ministry is getting excited for their very first Dummy Roping Clinic this Saturday, February 15th at 10:00 AM. This clinic will be for Kindergarteners-12th grade and any skill level and it’s FREE! There will be a free-will donation lunch following the clinic. The cut-off date for registration is this Wednesday, February 12th at 8:00 PM. See the flier in the lobby for the QR code or link to register. If you would like to help with the lunch, please see Alycia.
• Bill & Cody Huber has agreed to come back the next two following Wednesdays for a mini roping clinic series! They will be here Wednesday evenings, February 19th and 26th from 7:00-8:00 PM for kids that are 6th grade and under.
• Bonnie Helmick is celebrating 80 years of birthday blessings on Tuesday, February 25th! If you would like to make her day extra special, please share a favorite memory, photo, or funny story with her. Cards can be mailed to 404 W. Baird Street or left in her church mailbox. Thank you!
• The last two Sundays of February we will be taking an Alabaster Offering. The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. While we understand the church consists of the people of God and not a building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry help provide a sense of permanence, functionally enhance ministry efforts, and convey an attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to “put down roots.”
• If you would like to receive CYM monthly newsletters, please email Jordan Horstick at consumedyouthnaz@gmail.com and he will add you to the list. Please check your spam/junk mailbox if you aren’t receiving them and want to. If you receive these messages and read them each month, please send Jordan a note. He doesn’t want to continue doing these if no one is reading them or if it not benefitting anyone. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the most up to date information on different events.
