ANNOUNCEMENTS
Join us next week at 9:30 AM for Sunday School!
Our kids will be leaving for Children’s Church following song service.
• We want to congratulate our bible quizzers that went to Regional Bible Quizzing in Olathe, Kansas over the weekend! We are so proud of the hard work they have put into studying the book of Matthew this year and pray they bury it deep in their hearts.
• Our regular PM service will be starting at 5:00 PM tonight featuring our VBS Celebration! All are welcome to join as we share all of the fun things we learned at “Hometown Nazareth”, like when Jesus was a kid! After our skits in the sanctuary, we will gather in the gym for food, fellowship, and fun. Don’t forget your swimsuits and a towel!
o We will start disassembling the Easter Drama stage at the conclusion of the vbs program. We would appreciate anyone available to help us accomplish this task.
• The teen’s schedule will look a little different for the summer. They will meet at the park at 7:00 PM for a devotion and a fun activity. 6th graders are welcome to join in on Wednesday’s starting June 4th. Our normal youth group nights will move to Sunday nights at 6:00 PM starting June 2nd (this will be for 7th-12th graders).
• Our first cowboy church starts today!! Our Broken C Cowboy Ministries is an amazing ministry that reaches out to our horse loving friends who normally wouldn’t come to church and is a great opportunity for them to learn about how much God loves them. You are more than welcome to join them outside after morning worship this morning. Pastor Terry Chapman will preach during cowboy church and then there will be a free-will donation lunch.
• Iowa Holiness Association Camp Meeting will be this week, June 9th-14th at University Park, Iowa (east of Oskaloosa). See their facebook page “IHACampMeeting” or their website www. IowaHolinessAssociation.org for more information.
• Do you like to cook? Volunteers are needed for summer meal preparation at Camp Appanoose located near the shores of Lake Rathbun. You can sign up for one meal, a whole week, or anything in between. Text Sue Henderson at 641-799-2657 and leave your name and best time to call you inf interested. This is a great way to serve the Lord with your hospitality and cooking talents!
• Cindy North is a Nazarene missionary from Australia and will be visiting with us on June 23rd at our 6:00 PM service. Please feel free to join us for this presentation on the Kingdom work happening on the other side of the world.
• We will not be having PM service on June 16th. We encourage you to spend time with the fathers in your life.
